Monitored and lobbied a federally-mandated health planning agency while coordinating coalition of the presidents of The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and Baylor College of Medicine and the top leadership of the Harris County Medical Society, eight surrounding county medical societies and the Houston District Dental Society.

Succeeded in placing medical representatives in key committees of the health planning agency before the Federal government rescinded the law mandating its existence.

Produced a monthly newsletter to inform coalition.
