Nelda Watson gained special insight in this field as surgical
coordinator and office manager at Texas Eye Institute (TEI)
and as business development manager for Houston Eye Associates
(HEA). Both TEI and HEA are multi-physician, multi-unit ophthalmology
practices.
Between these tenures, Nelda created Patient Recall Systems,
a unique service that combined prudent chart selection and
personal telephone calls to consistently generate millions
of dollars in cataract surgery revenue. Patient Recall Systems
can easily be adapted to glaucoma and retail optical patients.
This experience -- coupled with her partner's global marketing
expertise -- have attracted a diverse set of "eye"
clients, including two LASIK surgeons, a solo practice ophthalmologist
and a major statewide retail optical group. In addition to
managing these clients' external and internal marketing, The
Watson Group has recruited employees, coordinated office construction
and provided strategic and business planning services.
